A Yellow Gold, Enamel and Pearl Mourning Brooch, Job Allitt, dated 1835

A very rare and beautifully executed enamel mourning brooch, comprising a central carved hard-stone section within a surround of twenty-two half-pearls within a further black enamel and gold border set with eight natural pearls, with a glazed panel to the reverse with woven hair. 

15ct gold, Pearls untested, sold as natural.
