CREATING A WISH LIST
By creating a customer profile, you can easily create your own personal product wish list, simply by clicking the 'Add to Wishlist' buttons or the heart icons – why not share your choices with your partner or friend, or even email it to us for more information? To sign up, just register for an account. To return to your account, change your details or view your previous wish list, simply sign in.
All prices on our website and our brochures are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include value added tax (VAT) at the current applicable rate. Please note that your payment card will also be debited in pounds sterling.
Items that are marked 'POA' (Price on Application) cannot be purchased through the payment gateway, but can be processed by BACS (bank transfer) or in person. Simply contact us for the price and one of our staff will be delighted to assist you.
Most of our jewellery, watches and gifts can be purchased through the payment gateway online – just click on 'add to cart' and follow the instructions.
However, some items will require payment by BACS (bank transfer) or in person. By clicking on the 'Contact us to Purchase this item' link you will be put in touch with one of our staff who will be able to assist you.
We accept all major debit and credit cards, payment by PayPal or you can send us your payment by bank transfer - simply email us for our account details so that we can give you them securely. Please be assured that we will be available to help at any stage, to make your buying experience as smooth as possible. All our prices are in Pound Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the current rate.
All our deliveries within the UK are free of charge, and will be sent by secure postage or courier. Delivery is subject to stock availability and we aim to deliver within 3 to 5 working days.
Please be aware that all deliveries need to be signed for. If you are not present at the time of delivery, our courier company will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery for a more convenient time.
ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY ADDRESS
You might prefer us to deliver to your place of work or to a relative’s home. This is no problem, but we may contact you in advance for extra security to ensure your package arrives safely.
For deliveries within the UK, we aim to ensure that your purchase will arrive no more than 24 hours after dispatch during the working week. Please allow extra time on weekends, Bank Holidays and during our busy Christmas and Easter periods.
Customer protection is important to us, therefore orders may sometimes be subject to additional security checks. This may cause a slight delay in the processing of some orders. We may need to contact you to carry out security checks - if we are unable to reach you using the contact details provided it will delay the dispatch of your order, so please do ensure that your contact details are correct.
We are confident that you will be very happy with your Ogden of Harrogate purchase, but if you are not entirely satisfied for any reason whatsoever with your decision you may request a full refund within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. We will gladly refund your transaction in full either by cheque or to the original debit or credit card used at the time of purchase. The only conditions are that the item is undamaged and has not been opened or used and the item is returned to our business address. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods.
Goods must be received by us in the condition they left us i.e. in the original packaging and unused. Refunds will be made within 7 days of the arrival of the product into our store.
Please note that we cannot offer a refund or exchange on special order items or items that have been engraved at your request.

At Ogdens, we are fortunate to have state-of-the-art workshop on the Harrogate premises, and offer a free cleaning and checking service for all our jewellery. Simply call into any of our shops and we will arrange this for you.

We want to make sure that our website is as safe as possible for you to use. We take security seriously and use industry standard technologies such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect sensitive information passed between you and the website. The use of SSL ensures your name and address are encrypted when submitting an online order form. Although no credit card details are stored on the website servers they are nonetheless hosted in a secure environment that is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

WORKING OUT YOUR SIZE
You may already know your ring size, based on a ring you own that is a comfortable fit. If not, please do call into an Ogden of Harrogate shop and ask for your ring size to be checked. Alternatively, you may bring in a ring that is worn on the same finger as the one you want to buy we will measure it for you. Alternatively, visit a local jeweller and ask if they might be kind enough to size your finger. A ring should fit snugly on your finger but still be loose enough to remove without too much tugging.
BUYING A RING FOR SOMEONE ELSE
Don’t let getting the wrong size put you off surprising someone. If you are unsure of the correct size we are happy to guide you through selecting an initial size, which can then be altered if necessary at a later date. This is, of course, with our compliments.
