Victorian Gold and Silver Diamond-Set Brooch with Fitted Box

A masterwork of Victorian design, this 19th Century shield brooch is crafted from both silver and gold, and features an array of different sized old-cut diamonds set in a dazzling display upon an openwork setting. On the back, a brooch pin fitting can be removed, with a small bail at the top back allowing it to be threaded on a chain or pearl necklace. This piece comes with its original fitted box.
