130 Years of Jewellery

Established in 1893, Ogden of Harrogate has witnessed many epochs of jewellery design, most notably the twilight of the Victorian era, the Edwardian period, which saw many innovations in jewellery manufacture, and the Art Deco style. The 1940s and 1950s also exhibited their own distinctive flair.

The delightful insect brooch with peridot abdomen is a Victorian original, with filigree rose cut diamond-set wings. The asymmetric diamond floral suite with ruby centre stones dates from the 1940s, and the heavy gold link bracelet is a classic vintage piece from the 1950s, a style decade that is deeply appreciated by our clients.
