This platinum and Marquise cut diamond single stone ring is 4 claw and wed set. The diamond is 0.94ct, 'H' in colour, 'VS2' in clarity and IGI certified. The term Marquise cut diamond, sometimes referred to as the navette shape diamond, dates back to 18th century France when King Louis XV ordered royal jewellers to cut diamonds to resemble the lips of his lover, Marquise de Pompadour. Our ring is now available for £5,200, reduced from £6,510.

This 18ct white gold and dark grey pearl pendant with pavé-set diamond curl is hung on on a 16” belcher chain. Pavé is a setting that consists of a lot of small gemstones attached to the jewellery by droplets of metal. As a result, the surface of a piece with such a setting looks like it has been paved with diamonds or other stones. This beguiling pendant is now priced at £3,100, down from $4,000.

Aquamarine forms large crystals suitable for sizeable fashioned gems and carvings and, like emerald, it is a colour variety of the mineral beryl.
