Alpina & Frederique Constant - Baselworld continued...

First of all, Alpina, a brand we already stock in Harrogate; as always there were lots of new models to choose from with some lovely additions to the whole range, however one piece really stood out - the Seastrong compressor case a re-release from their original collection in the 60’s. The perfect divers watch for the man that doesn’t want to carry around his diving weights on his wrist all day. Also on offer was a new set of vintage pieces which I will try to profile as time goes on. A really strong display from a brand that is going from strength to strength in the UK.

One exciting announcement I can make is that we have secured the exclusive distribution rights in York for Frederique Constant which will be on display in our Little Diamond Shop boutique on Lendal.  We are really excited for the product range that covers some fantastic complications such as a perpetual calendar moonphase and in house calibres. Having just announced Gwyneth Paltrow as their new brand ambassador, a lady who chooses you not the other way around, really is showing a signal of intent moving forward. With the resources and power behind them that they have Frederique Constant is a name people are going to struggle to forget.
