In glorious sunshine, teams from all over the UK competed in the finals of the three-day competition.

The day got off to an exciting start when the Ogdens-sponsored Leolene Lions beat off fierce competition from the Beverley Polo Club team and won the Ogden of Harrogate Armada Dish competition 6 - 5.

The tournament was sponsored by jewellers Ogden of Harrogate, in association with luxury watch brand Longines.

Guests enjoyed a champagne reception and four-course luncheon accompanied by the sounds of jazz band 'All That Jazz' before an afternoon of chukkas and the fiercely competed finals.

Ben Ogden, director of Ogden of Harrogate said: "The guests really enjoy the glamorous and relaxed atmosphere, and the setting is simply stunning.

"This year we were absolutely thrilled that the Yorkshire-based team the Leolene Lions was the winner of the Ogden Armada Dish as it demonstrates that polo continues to go from strength to strength in the north of England."
